BIZ: Restaurant-Dining Vs. Home Cooked, Words into Pictures Debate Screenwriting Big and Small

On the first weekend of June at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, the Writers Guild Foundation sponsored its second edition of the biannual "Words into Pictures: The Film and Television Forum." A three-day series of 35 seminars, "Words into Pictures" showcased over 200 entertainment writers, directors, producers, and studio executives, all talking about their craft.

Although primarily an event geared towards major movie studio professionals, the organizers did tuck in one seminar devoted to independent film, late in the morning on the first day. "The Indy 500: Writing Independent Film" enlisted indie stalwart and Sundance Film Festival co-director Geoffrey Gilmore to moderate the 90-minute dialogue. The five panelists included Alain Berliner ("Ma Vie En Rose")

    If we compare the food dining at the restaurant with the home cooked food then I think both are going to win. It also depends on the mood of the person that what he likes to have.

    If I have to make a selection between the restaurant foods with the home cooked food, I will be confused completely. Also, I would say that both are different and chosen according to the preference.
