"Bringing Up Bobby" Acquired by monterey media

monterey media has announced the acquisition of Famke Janssen's directorial debut, "Bringing Up Bobby."

The film stars Milla Jovovich as a European con artist who escapes to Oklahoma to provide a better life for her son, Bobby (Spencer List). However, she finds out that escaping her criminal past is harder than she thought. Bill Pullman and Marcia Cross also star in the film.

The film premiered at the Deauville American Film Festival and will have its US premiere at The Savannah Film Festival this November prior to its 2011 US theatrical launch.

In a deal with CAA, monterey media is proud to announce the acquisition of all North American rights to actress Famke Janssen’s writing and directorial debut, “Bringing Up Bobby, ” produced by Sofia Sondervan and Janssen which STARS Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil, The Three Musketeers), Bill Pullman (Independence Day, Sleepless in Seattle, The Grudge) and Marcia Cross (star of “Desperate Housewives”). The film premiered recently at the Deauville American Film Festival and will have its US premiere at The Savannah Film Festival this November prior to its 2011 US theatrical launch.
