Films are selling left and right at Cannes, and Double Dutch's feature "The Stream" is the latest to be acquired by Cinedigm.

Taking place over one afternoon, "The Stream" is a coming-of-age story about a bunch of Star Wars-obsessed kids in the early 1980s. After having his faux-lightsaber (Wiffle ball bat) snapped in half by bully, a young kid by the name of Ernest and his friends embark on a quest to replace the bat and make it home without arousing suspicion.

Rainn Wilson ("The Office"), Christopher Gorham ("Once Upon a Time"), Kelly Rutherford ("Gossip Girl") and Mario Lopez ("Saved by the Bell") star in the film directed by first timer Estlin Feigley.
