Fans of Bennett Miller's "Capote" and "Moneyball" were disappointed last fall after the release of the director's latest endeavor, "Foxcatcher," was delayed. Now, almost a year later, the true story about schizophrenic wrestling coach John du Pont is about to hit Cannes.
In anticipation of the drama, set to hit theaters stateside this November, we wanted to show you this first clip, featuring Steve Carell as John du Pont and Channing Tatum as Olympic-winning wrestler Mark Schultz.
Sporting some weight and a prosthetic nose that gives Nicole Kidman's "The Hours" one a run for its money, Carell is absolutely horrifying in the role of du Pont. In this clip we see him chatting it up with Tatum's Schultz, asking the wrestler what he hopes to achieve in life--as if he really cares.
It's an eerie look at what's likely to be one of the darkest pictures hitting theaters this year. Check it out below.
