"Cheap Thrills," a dark comedy directed by newbie E.L. Katz, first premiered at SXSW earlier this year. Indiewire has been given an exclusive look at a short clip from the 45-minute making-of documentary, which will be included in the film's Blu-ray/DVD package come May 27.
The behind the scenes documentary, directed by TJ Nordaker, is an insider's look into the production of the indie film with a fly-on-the-wall per perspective. Here we can see first time filmmaker Katz navigate the challenges of an intense shoot with a challenging 14-day schedule.
In the clip we are introduced to veteran stunt coordinate George P. Wilbur, who has worked on stunts for films such as "Silence of the Lambs" and "Poltergeist." He shows cast members Ethan Embry and David Koechner how to properly act out scenes and we are also given a look at his extensive filmography.
Check out the clip from the documentary below to see the man who began his career with John Wayne.
