Roger Ebert Documentary 'Life Itself' Gets a Poster

Although "Life Itself," the documentary about the career and life of legendary film critic Roger Ebert, first showed at Sundance in January, a poster for the film was released earlier today. "Life Itself" opens in theaters on July 4.

Although "Life Itself," the documentary about the career and life of legendary film critic Roger Ebert, first showed at Sundance in January, a poster for the film was released earlier today. Distributed by Magnolia Pictures, "Life Itself" opens in theaters and on VOD on July 4. 

The documentary film, directed by Steve James ("Hoop Dreams") and executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Steven Zaillian is based on Ebert's memoir of the same name. It chronicles Ebert's struggles both professionally and personally throughout his fruitful career.
