Watch: First Trailer Hits for Korean Director Seong-Hun Kim's Cannes Entry 'A Hard Day'

While this year's Cannes lineup boasts films from veterans such as Jean-Luc Godard and David Cronenberg, newcomer Seong-Hun Kim joins the pack with the cop action thriller "A Hard Day."

While this year's Cannes lineup boasts films from veterans such as Jean-Luc Godard and David Cronenberg, newcomer Seong-Hun Kim joins the pack with the cop action thriller "A Hard Day."  

"A Hard Day" follows a detective, played by Lee Sun-Kyun, who attempts to cover up a hit-and-run. Meanwhile he is being threatened by a mysterious witness to the murder. 

"A Hard Day" will premiere at Cannes as part of the Directors' Fortnight program. You can check out the trailer below.
