The Palm Springs International ShortFest, which takes place from June 17-23, will celebrate its 20th anniversary by showcasing 330 films, including 84 world premieres, 71 North American premieres and 22 U.S. premieres.

This year's shorts are pretty star-studded and include appearances by Sarah Paulson, Jayma Mays, Natalie Dormer, Nick Offerman, Cheyenne Jackson, Oscar Isaac and Sally Hawkins. In addition, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Taylor Kitsch and Rose McGowan will premiere their own short films at the festival.

ShortFest will also be screening twelve of their films online as past of their 4th annual ShortFest Online Film Festival.  

Prizes include over $115,000 in prizes, including $21,000 in cash awards that will be given out in 21 categories. ShortFest has also declared that their Panavision Best North American Short Award winner will receive a camera package valued at $60,000. Overall, first place winners in four of the categories will automatically become eligible for consideration by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) for a possible Academy Award nomination.

The full lineup will be announced on the Palm Spring ShortFest website, on June 8. The online box office launch will be on June 10.
