Cine-World Lines Up Close To 50 Films by indieWIRE The Sarasota Film Society announced the preliminary line up for the 1997 Cine- World Film Festival. Scheduled to take place October 31-November 9, the festival plans to exhibit between 45-50 films. Highlights of this year's festival are; "Will It Snow For Christmas?," which is also opening this month's Hamptons International Film Festival, "Telling Lies In America," directed by D. Guy Ferland and based on a screenplay by Joe Esterhas, and Kirby Dick's "Sick: The Life And Death Of Bob Flanagan." Also included are several films that are making their way along the fall festival circuit; Alain Berliner's "Ma Vie En Rose" [Read the interview in this issue], Lars von Trier's "The Kingdom II," the Australian noir "Kiss Or Kill," and "Love And Death On Long Island," starring John Hurt and Jason Priestly.
