Cinecittà Luce and The American Cinematheque are working together to bringing the latest in Italian cinema to Southern California. The organizations, an arm of the Italian Ministry of Culture and a reportory cinema program at the Egyptian Theater, will present Cinema Italian Style 2010 November 9-20 at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica and The Egyptian in Hollywood. The festival will start with a screening of Italy's entry for this year's foreign language Academy Awards, Paolo Virzì's "La Prima Cosa Bella (The First Beautiful Thing)." The event will also celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Fellini's "La Dolce Vita" with a special exhibit, which opens on November 10.
