Cohen Media Group today announced it has acquired all U.S. distribution rights to "Breathe In," the new drama from writer-director Drake Doremus which premiered at Sundance earlier this year.
Starring Guy Pearce, Felicity Jones and Amy Ryan, the film was produced by Jonathan Schwartz and Andrea Sperling of Super Crispy Entertainment, along with Steven Rales and Mark Roybal of Indian Paintbrush, which also financed the film. QED International remains on board handling international distribution.
The agreement was negotiated by Gary Rubin, Executive VP of Cohen Media Group, and the UTA Independent Film Group, which represented the filmmakers.
CMG is gearing up for a full theatrical release in fourth-quarter 2013.
