Congrats to 'Hybrid Vigor,' Indiewire's Project of the Week!

Thanks to your votes, the Latvian drama "Hybrid Vigor" won this weekend’s Project of the Week contest!

Congratulations to “Hybrid Vigor" director Brandon Fowler. The filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and the film is now officially a candidate for Project of the Month, the winner of which will receive a consultation from the Tribeca Film Institute.

Here's what the project is about:

Hybrid Vigor is a feature film about life, death, violence, morality, immortality, love, and loss in the USSR during Soviet times and in present day Latvia. It opens on frozen Lake Baikal in Siberia during Soviet times.

    I've been excited about this film since the campaign launched on Kickstarter, and the early looks from location shoots that have been released are turning the anticipation into a palpable buzz!
