Congrats to 'Know How,' June's Project of the Month!

Congratulations to "Know How" director Juan Carlos Piñeiro Escoriaza! The project received the most votes to win June's Project of the Month. The prize is a creative consultation and Tribeca Film Institute.

Here's a look at the film's pitch:

KNOW HOW is not a documentary nor is it fiction. It’s a new hybrid approach for using film to create social change. Instead of professional screenwriters and actors, these stories are written and performed by a cast of ordinary foster care youth, and their performances are powerful, moving, and eye-opening. KNOW HOW is a musical that brings authentic voices and unseen stories to the screen. It's a bit of a cross between The Wire and Glee, but not really. And it really aims at driving social change.
For more information on this project, visit its Project of the Day page.

lets see here, its not a documentary and it's not a fictional film. i like it, it's good to have a film where i don't always see the same familiar faces everyday, it totally kills the thrill sometimes. i got a good feeling about this film. finally some creativity!
