Thanks to your votes, a story about UCLA's fledgling Quidditch team who makes their bid for the Quidditch World Cup, "Mudbloods" won this weekend's Project of the Week contest!

Congratulations to "Mudbloods" and director Farzad Sangari. The filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and the film is now officially a candidate for Project of the Month. That winner will be awarded with a consultation from the Tribeca Film Institute.

Here's what the project's about:

"Mudbloods" is a feature documentary that follows the UCLA Quidditch team on their journey to the 5th Annual Quidditch World Cup. The film is about the fearless, bold individuals who dedicate their lives to the sport of Quidditch; the entrepreneurial force behind the International Quidditch Association; and the cultural phenomenon that has defined a generation. It’s a sports doc unlike anything you've ever seen because it's a sport you could've never imagined... until now.
