Congrats to 'When Sunny Gets Blue,' Indiewire's Project of the Week!

Thanks to your votes, the live-action drama "When Sunny Gets Blue" from animator Oded Naaman won this weekend’s Project of the Week contest!

Congratulations to "When Sunny Gets Blue" director Oded Naaman. The filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and the film is now officially a candidate for Project of the Month. That winner will be awarded with a consultation from the Tribeca Film Institute.

Here's what the project's about:

Jonathan, a jazz pianist, lost his ability to play due to an injury. After sinking into a dark place, giving up on life and music, an odd journey with odd characters, might be exactly what he needs to gain new hope for life. It is a magic realism story, with a touch of noir and whimsical attitude, which sprang from the filmmaker's own personal experience with hand injury.

View the project's page here.

More Projects of the Day coming this week. Want your project to be considered? Tell us all about it.
