Costume Designers Guild Announces 2011 Nominees

The Costume Designers Guild have announced nominees in three separate film categories - contemporary, fantasy and period - for its 14th annual awards ceremony.

Nominees included "The Artist" and "The Help" in the period category, the latest "Harry Potter" and "Pirates" films in the fantasy category, and "Melancholia" and "Bridesmaids" in the contemporary category.

Winners will be announced at a Feb. 21 gala hosted by Jane Lynch at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Excellence in Period Film:

Excellence in Fantasy Film:

“Thor” (Alexandra Byrne)
