Nominees included "The Artist" and "The Help" in the period category, the latest "Harry Potter" and "Pirates" films in the fantasy category, and "Melancholia" and "Bridesmaids" in the contemporary category.
Winners will be announced at a Feb. 21 gala hosted by Jane Lynch at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
