DAILY NEWS: "American Beauty" and "The Insider" Top List of Golden Globe Nominees

(indieWIRE/12.20.99) -- Today, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominations for the Golden Globe Awards with Sam Mendes' "American Beauty" receiving 6 nominations and Michael Mann's "The Insider" nabbing 5. The organization, comprised of about 100 people, will present its prizes in Hollywood on January 23, 2000.
