Dances With Films Announces Winners; 'Coyote' Wins Top Narrative Prize

One could say that Dances With Films had a "sweet sixteen," as the sixteenth year of the Santa Monica-based independent film festival recently wrapped up its most successful year yet, expanding to more days and selling out more screenings than ever before. Having taken place from May 30 to June 9, Dances With Films just announced its roster of winners, with the recipient of the Grand Jury Prize in the Feature Competition garnering distribution with Gravitas Ventures.

Having taken place from May 30 to June 9, Dances With Films just announced its roster of winners, with the recipient of the Grand Jury Prize in the Feature Competition garnering distribution with Gravitas Ventures.

Below is the full list of Dances With Films prizes. The Industry Choice Award, given to a filmmaker by a jury of industry luminaries including producers Steven Wegner and Cindy Cowan, is now in its third year of being awarded at the festival.
