Adam Yauch started the company in January 2008 to create a distribution company that's modeled after the indie record labels he hung around in the 80's.


Company Focus

Types of films in distributor’s slate:
We are looking for films we love and are passionate about. To date, we've released documentaries, foreign language narrative films and American independents. But we're open to all genres.

Advice for filmmakers:
It's really good when filmmakers do their research about the marketplace and, as much as possible, understand some of the responsibilities of a what distributor can offer. Also, since not all distributors are the same,

We will release 7-10 films/year on exclusively on DVD/VOD.

Most of our films are acquired at festivals.
