Adele Exarchopoulos seems destined to be unlucky in love. After her breakout role in last year's Cannes' winner "Blue is the Warmest Color," the French actress has taken on "Qui Vive" (the English-language title is "Insecure"), another romantic story in which her character faces strong issues with her partner. Indiewire has an exclusive first look at the English-subtitled trailer for the French-language drama.
"Zero Dark Thirty" and "A Prophet" star Reda Kateb plays a nursing student trying to better himself in inner-city Paris and making ends meet with a gig as a security guard, a job which brings him into contact with animation student Jenny (Exarchapoulos) but also with harassing teenagers and a more sinister criminal gang.
"Insecure" is helmed by first time feature writer/director Marianne Tardieu. No U.S. release date has been announced as of yet.
