Factory 25 has acquired U.S. rights to the Zellner Brother's festival favorite, "Kid Thing." The modern-day fairy tale that follows Annie, a rebellious 10-year-old girl living on the outskirts of a small town, virtually devoid of parental guidance, has played everywhere from Sundance to Berlin.
The company plans to premiere it theatrically in New York on May 24th, followed by a national release. The film will also be available on VOD that same day.
