Exclusive Poster for SXSW Thriller 'Cheap Thrills' Starring Pat Healy and Sara Paxton

Among the slate of films that open Austin's SXSW Film Festival tomorrow is "What Fun We Were Having" co-writer E.L. Katz' directorial debut "Cheap Thrills," written by Troma vet Trent Haaga and David Chirchirillio.

The thriller, airing as part of SXSW's Midnighter series, stars Pat Healy ("Compliance") as a new father facing eviction who meets a wealthy couple (Sara Paxton and David Koechner) who offer him salvation, for a price.

Thank you for promoting the film. It's called 'Cheap Thrills,' not 'Cheap Thrillers.' And my name is spelled Healy, not Healey. It's all on the poster you so nicely and prominently have displayed.

    Ha! Bravo, Pat!

The movie is a curiosity as the "The Innkeepers" reunion.
