Land Ho!

Aaron Katz and Martha Stephens offbeat road trip comedy, "Land Ho!" which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, captured the hearts of critics, including our own, with its distinctively fresh approach to the genre.

Part the credit goes to the film's score, which is steeped in '80s pop nostalgia. Composed by Katz's longtime friend and collaborator, Keegan DeWitt, the "Land Ho!" score is a delicate combination of pop-rock and jazz fusion; think Phil Collins circa 1984, minus the cheese factor.

Okay, maybe a little bit of cheese, but let's face it, right now, when hope seems to have run dry in the world (you know what we're talking about), music is the first place we go to restore our faith.

You can check out the complete official score below, as well all of the outtakes. DeWitt is currently the road his band, Wild Cub
