Film Independent Forum Passes Now On Sale

The 2011 Film Independent Forum, presented by indieWIRE, has begun releasing this year's passes for the event, set to run from October 21-23 at the Director's Guild of America in Los Angeles. The Forum, now in its eighth year, gathers industry professionals for a weekend of panels and discussions.

The 2011 Film Independent Forum, presented by indieWIRE, has begun releasing this year's passes for the event, set to run from October 21-23 at the Director's Guild of America in Los Angeles. The Forum, now in its eighth year, gathers industry professionals for a weekend of panels and discussions.

This year's Forum will cover funding solutions, legal challenges faced by documentary filmmakers and navigating the festival circuit, as well as new opportunities in television.

Past speakers at the Forum include "Terri" director Azazel Jacobs, FilmDistrict's Bob Berney and producers of "Blue Valentine," "The Hurt Locker" and "The Kids Are All Right."
