Film Kitchen Starts Cooking

Film Kitchen's first distribution effort will be the homevideo release of Harris' feature debut, "loser," currently in someindependent video outlets and expected to hit the large chains in earlyApril. The film stars Harris and Peta Wilson ("Sadness of Sex," TV's "LaFemme Nikita,") and played at the Slamdance Film Festival. In a phoneconversation with indieWIRE, Harris said that funding for the company'sproduction and distribution will be on a "project by project basis," andthat "films made by Film Kitchen will not necessarily distributed byus."Next up on the Kitchen table is "My Sweet Killer," the debut feature of21 year-old Justin Dossetti, and is written by Harris and produced byLindeman ("Bar Girls," "Shooting Porn") and Rubio. "Killer" is currentlyin post-production. In production is an untitled documentary about afamily owned, legal brothel in Nevada that marks the directorial debutof producer Lindeman and is set to be completed in June. independent video outlets and expected to hit the large chains in early
