Film Movement acquired North American rights to Dusty Bias' feature directorial debut, the Sundance quirky comedy "Prairie Love."

Here's the film's synopsis from Film Movement:

As a high plains drifter travels across the wintry North Dakota prairie, he finds a man lying unconscious in the middle of the road. After defrosting, the man explains that he’s on his way to meet his penpal girlfriend for the first time, as she’s being released from prison. Desperate for a girlfriend of his own, the drifter hatches a plan to steal his new companion’s identity.

The first feature film from American filmmaker Dusty Bias, PRAIRIE LOVE tells the comical story of 3 lost souls looking for love on the North Dakota tundra. The film will be released in Q1 2012, and will be available on VOD in over 40 million homes.

Synopsis of PRAIRIE LOVE:
