Films Philos and sales company WIDE Entertainment reached agreement on distribution for Ramin Bahrani's Sundance Film Festival '06 Spectrum feature "Man Push Cart" following its opening screening. Films Philos will release the American indie in late fall/winter 2006 in the U.S. and English speaking Canada. The film is the story of a New York City push cart vendor and his struggles with life in the city, "Man Push Cart" had its world premiere at the 2005 Venice International Film Festival, and later went on to win the FIPRESCI International Critics Award at the London Film Festival, and both the audience award and best actor award at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, before its North American premiere in Sundance.
