Focus Features executive vice president Avy Eschenasy is being promoted from EVP of business affairs to EVP of strategic planning, business affairs and acquisitions. Mr. Eschenasy reports to Focus Features CEO James Schamus, who made the announcement today. Based in the company's West Coast offices, Eschenasy has been executive vice president at Focus since it was formed in the spring of 2002. The company's business affairs departments in Focus' Manhattan and West Coast offices will continue to report to him regarding all aspects of the film slates at Focus and sibling company Rogue Pictures.
