Fox Searchlight Nabs Worldwide Rights to "Little Miss Sunshine"

Fox Searchlight Pictures has announced that the company has acquired worldwide rights to Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris' "Little Miss Sunshine", which had its world premiere last night at the Sundance Film Festival. Fox would not confirm a figure for the deal, but insider buzz pegged the pact at $10 million. The film is scheduled to be released this summer. [Eugene Hernandez]
