The limited series "Fargo" isn't as limited as you might have thought -- this morning at its TCA presentation, FX announced that it had picked up a second installment of writer/executive producer Noah Hawley's ground-breaking miniseries.
Anyone who watched all 10 episodes of "Fargo" knows that there are a number of lead actors who, despite being nominated for Emmys for their acting work, will most likely not be returning. (Spoiler alert: People died a lot on this show.)
While a few key characters could possibly still be able to return (because they avoided being brutally murdered), the official release promises an "all-new" cast of characters as well as a new story and time period. The series will premiere Fall 2015.
The first installment was nominated for 18 Emmy awards -- the new season will run for 10 episodes. "'Fargo' was nothing short of breathtaking and we look forward to the next installment," FX CEO John Landgraf said in a release.
