Thanks to your votes, Civil Rights era drama "American Falls," won this weekend's Project of the Week contest for the last week of July!

Congratulations to "American Falls" director Be’ Garrett. The filmmaker will receive a digital distribution consultation from SnagFilms and is now officially a candidate for Project of the Month. That winner will be awarded with a consultation from the Sundance Institute.

Go here to vote for Project of the Week for the week of August 5. The four projects up for the prize are: "Steve Chong Finds Out that Suicide is a Bad Idea," "Gayby," "Dick and Bob," and "Martin Luther King, Jr. in Palestine."
