IFC Films Nets Thriller 'Gallows Hill'

IFC has acquired the North American rights to Colombian film, "Gallows Hill." Directed by Victor Garcia and written by Richard D'Ovidio ("The Call"), the film tells the story of a widower (Peter Facinelli) who takes his family on a road trip to his mother's hometown. On the way, they are involved in an accident and seek shelter at an inn, where they find a girl locked in the cellar and decide to free her, putting into motion a horrifying sequence of events.
