IFC Center Sets Spring Slate

New York's IFC Center has announced its slate through June, 2009. Nine theatrical U.S. premieres are included in the batch, from Olivier Assayas' "Summer Hours" to Jia Zhang-ke's "24 City" to Academy Award nominee "Revanche." Friday, April 17-Thursday, April 30: LEMON TREE Directed by Eran Riklis, starring Hiam Abass (Israeli Academy Award for Best Actress; The Visitor) When her family's lemon grove is condemned as a security threat by the Israeli Defense Forces, a Palestinian widow fights back in this quietly powerful drama that took the Audience Award at the Berlin and San Sebastian Film Festivals.
