This Wednesday, the 2010 Independent Film Festival of Boston, in a year of record-breaking attendance, ended with its last minute addition closing night film, Jean Pierre Jeunet's "Micmacs." Also on Wednesday, the fest announced its jury and audience award winners. Ben Wheatley's "Down Terrace" was named best narrative by the fest's jury. Sundance champ "Winter's Bone," directed by Debra Granik, received a special jury prize and the Narrative Audience Award. Laura Poitras's "The Oath" and Jeff Malmberg's "Marwencol" took home the jury and audience doc prizes.
Actor Kevin Kline was feted with the 2010 IFFBoston Career Achievement Award on the fest's opening night. Below are the seven jury winners and three audience award winners:
