IFP and FIND Divorce Complete

By Indiewire | Indiewire October 13, 2005 at 8:31AM

The Independent Feature Project (IFP) and Film Independent have concluded their separation, according to IFP. The split began earlier this year when IFP/Los Angeles decided to end its association with the other IFP organizations. As part of the agreement, IFP run by Michelle Byrd in New York recently took over Filmmaker Magazine and the IFP.org website. Shortly before this year's IFP Market Jay Milla took over as publisher of Filmmaker after Stephen Gallagher decided to attend graduate school. Film producer Scott Macaulay remains Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly publication which was founded in 1992. Film Independent is headed by Dawn Hudson in Los Angeles.[Eugene Hernandez]
