Indie Production Company Signs On With MGM

Tribeca Productions, run by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Brad
Epstein, signed a first -look deal with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. The
announcement follows De Niro's participation in a United Artist's film,
"Ronin", starring Jean Reno, Stellan Skarsgard and De Niro. United Artists
Pictures
and MGM Pictures are units of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. Tribeca
Productions is responsible for the current film, "Wag The Dog", directed by
Barry Levinson.


"This agreement is clearly indicative of the quality alliances MGM is
establishing," said Lindsay Doran, President of United Artists Pictures.


"We are delighted to be partnering with MGM," said Tribeca's Rosenthal.
"Teaming with such a world-class talent reaffirms our status as a leading
provider of premium entertainment, while fueling our ambitious growth
plans."
