IndieIN to Offer Free Film Listings for Independent Filmmakers

By Indiewire | Indiewire December 19, 2005 at 9:26AM

indieIN announced today they will now offer free indieIN film listings to independent filmmakers with shorts and feature films playing in festivals, as well as to filmmakers who are self-distributing. Launched earlier this year, indieIN provides show times and information for independent and foreign films playing both theatrically and in film festivals in the United States, Canada, and the UK. By using indieIN Film Listings, festival filmmakers can create a "personalized" page for their films, including show times, synopsis, cast/crew, and photos. "indieIN believes that independent film audience is as diverse as the films themselves," says Michelle Bryant, indieIN CEO in a statement. "It's been really exciting to see the amazing response from filmmakers, festivals, and film societies around the country as well as filmgoers who love the convenience we offer when looking for something different than what’s playing at the local multiplex." Visitors to indieIN can search for feature and short films playing in the US, Canada and the UK by using either a title or city/zip code search. Visitors can also buy tickets online at select theaters via an affiliation with movietickets.com. [Brian Brooks]
