Here's your daily dose of an indie film in progress; at the end of the week, you'll have the chance to vote for your favorite.
In the meantime: Is this a movie you’d want to see? Tell us in the comments.
One man takes on City Hall, Wall Street, and The Pope, as he questions society’s most fundamental beliefs about prosperity.
This groundbreaking documentary challenges our beliefs linking growth with prosperity. It explores fact and superstition related to economic, consumption and population growth. Why seek them after outgrowing the planet?
In this David vs. Goliath story, filmmaker Dave Gardner dares to challenge a growth-obsessed system. He takes on presidents and prime ministers, economists and journalists, Donald Trump and the Pope.
Gardner holds up a mirror so we all can see how silly we’re behaving. Fortunately, it turns out getting off the hamsterwheel of ever-increasing production and consumption actually frees us to get back in touch with the values we treasure most.
Producer/Director/Cinematographer: Dave Gardner

About the Film:
"We all want our children to have good lives, but it's become apparent our efforts to do that are actually going to prevent it. We know better. It's quite evident the scale of the human enterprise has outgrown the planet. So I was curious: What is it that keeps us sawing off the limb we're sitting on?
"I believe GrowthBusters will be my career-defining film. Am I a visionary or the fool on the hill? You decide." --Dave Gardner
In post-prodution. The film is looking to have their world premiere in late October.
