"Death in Arizona"
Tweetable Logline:
Death in Arizona documents award-winning filmmaker Tin Dirdamal's return to the vacant apartment of a former love: http://kck.st/lz7Ief
Elevator Pitch:
"Death in Arizona" is a documentary about a lost love. While living in Bolivia I met a woman who became an extraordinary love. She left me, and months after I returned to her empty apartment attempting to liberate myself from this anguish. As I attempted to capture the vacancy of both the apartment and myself, the windows became my greatest distraction. Through them, I began to document the passage of time: the demolition and reconstruction of a building, a family of four turning into a family of five, the changing seasons.
Production Team:
Director: Tin Dirdamal
Producer: Christina Haglund
Music Composer: Jorge Marrón
About the Production:
"This is a very intimate film. One of great pain. As I documented the vacant apartment of this former love, the bolivian streets outside boiled in political unrest. I document my own genuine and valid battle inside those walls. I use the camera as a tool to turn this loss into something beautiful and powerful." -- Tin Dirdamal
Current Status:
The film is currently in production.
