Industry Veteran To Head International Sales and Acquisitions for Indomina Releasing

Los Angeles, CA – April 3, 2012– Looking to bolster its international sales arm as the company continues to expand, it was announced today that veteran foreign distribution executive Stephanie Denton has been hired to head up international sales & acquisitions for Indomina Releasing, a division of The Indomina Group - the fast-growing U.S. and Dominican Republic based producer and distributor of film, TV and trans-media content. The announcement was made today by Indomina Vice-Chairman and CEO Jasbinder Singh Mann.

In her newly appointed role, Denton is charged with overseeing all aspects of Indomina’s burgeoning international sales operations. She will also play an integral role in evaluating third party projects and negative pickups for the company’s foreign acquisition and distribution slate. “Indomina is committed to strategic expansion in key areas and we realize that at this crucial stage you’re only as good as your senior executive team paving the way for continued growth,” said Mann. “With Stephanie on board, we feel we are well positioned to advance our international sales operations and further build our brand globally.”

Indomina's Senior Vice President of Distribution and Marketing, Bruce Kirkland added, “Stephanie has a tremendous pedigree and brings a wealth of experience and contacts to her new position.” We are excited to have her join our international sales team and we look forward to bringing high quality commercial feature films to the marketplace.”

A highly accomplished executive with over 20 years of experience in the global film distribution business, Denton has led the international sales and distribution divisions of companies such as Lionsgate Films International, Lakeshore Entertainment Group, Graham King’s Initial Entertainment Group and Bold Films, serving as President at each company. Most recently, Denton headed up Sales and Business Development for the Los Angeles branch of Toronto based Animation Studio, ARC Productions, where she was responsible the sales and packaging of the companies IP as well as outside co production opportunities for television and feature properties.

Indomina’s international sales slate includes Ice-T’s performance movie Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap, the award-winning Bart Layton directed thriller The Imposter, and the music themed coming of age film Filly Brown - all of which were acquired at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and will be shown to international buyers for the first time in Cannes in May.
