INDUSTRY MOVES: Overture Taps Forston and Kisilevsky

Greg Forston has been named SVP of theatrical distribution and Lauren Kisilevsky has been named VP of production and acquistion at Overture Films, the company announced today. Forston, a distribution veteran who has worked at Yari Film Group, Fine Line Features, IFC Films and Palm Picures, will report to EVP of theatrical distribution Kyle Davies and will be based in Beverly Hills. Kisilevsky, who has worked at Type A Films and Blue Star Pictures, will report to EVP of production and acquisitions Robert Kessel along with EVP Sean Furst and SVP Bryan Furst. Manager Annie Marter and creative exec Jessica Shulman round out the team.

Films on the Overture slate include its recent acquistition, Bill Maher's "Ferris Wheel" starring Charlize Theron and Jon Amiel's "105 Degress and Rising." The company, formed last year, is headed by former MGM exec Chris McGurk. [Eugene Hernandez]
