Underscoring an effort to keep ThinkFilm and Capital Films separate in the international arena (as the European Film Market gets underway in Berlin), Eve Schoukroun has been named head of ThinkFilm International, joining the division from ThinkFilm's parent company. She will report to SVP Randy Manis and work closely with VP of International Sales David Fenkel. "This is the next logical step in the evolution of ThinkFilm International as we move to improve the level of product and to handle bigger budgeted films," said Manis, in a statement. While Schoukroun added in a statement, "I have been fortunate to have learned from the best at Capitol, and am thrilled to now be joining THINKFilm. We believe there are buyers in every territory whose needs are not being adequately met. By identifying the right projects - and casting them creatively - we will fill a void in the marketplace."
