Russell Schwartz is leaving New Line Cinema after more than six years at the company. New Line's President of Domestic Theatrical Marketing, Schwartz will be announcing his new plans shortly, according to an announcement on Monday. "Russell has been a friend and colleague at New Line during stints over 30 years," said New Line Co-Chairman and Co-CEO Bob Shaye in a statement, "He is a superb marketing executive, and I sincerely regret our parting. He will continue to succeed." Schwartz will remain at the company until the end of August and will be available to the company as a consultant thereafter, Monday's announcement said.
