Crowds packed into a theater at downtown Manhattan's Film Forum for the New York premiere of Brazilian filmmaker Karim Ainouz's "Madame Sata," hosted by Nerve.com. Technical problems, however, prevented the screening from taking place, so the invited guests, including a group of Ainouz's compatriots, were given passes to a future screening and were then lead to an earlier then expected party at nearby Flow. Partygoers, including Variety's David Rooney and producer George LaVoo in addition to Nerve's Rufus Griscom and Alisa Volkman as well as Wellspring Media's (the film's distributor) Marie Therese Guirgis and Rob Williams seemed to take the screening snafu in stride, sipping beer and vodka well into the evening.

Nerve.com's Alisa Volkman, VP of film development, Rufus Griscom, CEO and screenwriter Oren Moverman ("Jesus' Son") at the party show their sexy smiles. Nerve is producing Oren's next film, "Cordless," which will be his directorial debut.
