Tribeca parties headed into full gear Wednesday, beginning with a pleasantly intimate soiree for Neil LaBute's "The Shape of Things" in, of course, Lower Manhattan. The director was joined by Paul Rudd, Rachel Weisz, and Gretchen Mol as well as friends Gale Harold ("Queer as Folk") and director Darren Aronofsky. Also sippin' cocktails downtown was the "Style Wars" gang at Bauhaus, including director Tony Silver.

Actor Paul Rudd takes a moment from socializing to pose for a pic. An intimate soiree at The Independent restaurant in Lower Manhattan celebrated "The Shape of Things," which is featured in the Tribeca Film Festival's Special Screenings section.
