Genre fans are waiting patiently for Magnet Releasing to announce a U.S. release date for Ben Wheatley's highly anticipated "High-Rise," but luckily the writer-director has just dropped a treat on Twitter to hold fans over until then. The thriller, which earned some of the strongest reviews for a premiere out of the Toronto International Film Festival, has gotten a teaser poster that truly puts the "high" in high-rise.
Based on J.G. Ballard’s 1975 sci-fi novel, the movie focuses on the class warfare that breaks out in a high-rise condo following a series of power outages. Tom Hiddleston leads the ensemble cast, which also includes Elisabeth Moss, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans and Jeremy Irons.
Magnet Releasing will open the film sometime this year. Check out the teaser poster below.
