Truly Indie has announced that it will handle the U.S. theatrical release of Andrea Kalin's documentary, "Allah Made Me Funny: Live in Concert." The film looks at three American Muslim comedians, Mo Amer, Azhar Usman, and Preacher Mosswho, who take "a no holds barred approach" to humor about being Muslim in America. The deal was negotiated by Alex Kronemer from Unity Television with Truly Indie Executive Director Kelly Sanders and Head of Business and Legal Affairs Jason Janego. Truly Indie will release the film in October. [Peter Knegt]
