David Modigliani's award-winning SXSW documentary "Crawford" has been picked up by B-Side Entertainment. As part of the pact, B-Side entered a deal with Hulu.com, which will host the doc's feature film premiere -- a first for the ad supported streaming service. The film centers on the small Texan town where U.S. President Bush bought a ranch prior to running for high office in 2000 and the human impact of perception-versus-reality politics. B-Side CEO Chris Hyams negotiated the acquisition deal with Josh Braun of Submarine representing the filmmaker. Hyams, Braun and filmmaker David Modigliani brought the premiere idea to Hulu.
