iW NEWS | Beastie Boy Launches Oscilloscope Pictures, Fenkel to Head Company

Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys is launching the new film distribution company, Oscilloscope Pictures. David Fenkel of ThinkFilm is heading the new company and overseeing acquisitions, domestic distribution and international sales for the new unit. Oscilloscope plans to acquire completed films and also offer finishing funds to projects and intends to handle post-production, marketing, creative services and delivery in-house. Also already on board is Dan Berger, formerly of ThinkFilm. [Eugene Hernandez]
