iW NEWS | High Point Acquires "Plague"

London based sales company High Point Films, run by Carey Fitzgerald and part of the High Point Media Group, acquired world rights (outside of the UK) for British urban drama "The Plague." Directed by Greg Hall, the film follows four struggling multi-ethnic friends in London. "It is exactly this sort of edgy, independent, innovative fare so many of our buyers are crying out for," said High Point Sales & Marketing Director Elisar Cabrera in statement. High Point will be launching the film at the Marche du Film in Cannes. [Peter Knegt]
